A Dukes of Hazzard/Greatest American Hero Series.
When Los Angeles FBI agent Bill Maxwell is reassigned to the Atlanta bureau, neither he, nor the city of Atlanta,
have any idea what they're in for...
Author's Note: I'm a stickler for time periods and years and all that crap and I really blow my own rule with this series. LOL. In regards to the Dukes of Hazzard, this series is slightly different from my "Rosco Series" of stories with MaryAnne (which take place after the Dukes ended in 1985). MaryAnne is a few years older in this Southern Cross Series yet the time period is set back to the early 80's (ie, 1983) to fit with the TGAH aspect of it. In regard to TGAH cannon this takes place alternate of season three (after "Divorce Venusian Style"). Also of note, this series alludes to and could potentially cross with "The Kin Series" just to keep things interesting. Khee!
If you're not familar with my "Rosco Series" of DOH fanfic or with "The Kin Series" of DOH fanfic, this should not detract from your reading enjoyment of this story. A general awareness of both the Dukes and TGAH would probably enhance y'alls experience but hopefully I introduce enough of each show that if you're not familiar with one or the other, you'll be able to follow along.
I do hope to see this series through and not just have one story and have the concept die on me. I have multiple story ideas but that's no promise of follow through. If you enjoy this series, by all means do let me know. I love feedback.
And lastly, to answer the question of why... Why did I cross these two shows in this manner? I just couldn't help myself. =)

~~Atlanta~~
After a wayward pursuit lands FBI Agent Bill Maxwell in political hot water, he's reassigned for awhile to the Atlanta Bureau. Bill faces the new assignment alone, without Ralph and Pam, and figures his career will end in hillbilly hell. Meanwhile, Johnny Dimante's Hit Car is stolen out of the federal impound in Los Angeles never to be seen again....until Bill spots it on the streets of Atlanta on a flatbed truck. Bill follows the car, and the subsequent clues, to a small town called Hazzard where, along with a few surprises, he uncovers the shocking intended use for the Hit Car... (UPDATED: Chapter 14.
